Hi I’m Hannah, from Febraury to July 2007 I lived and worked in a city called Vadodara (Baroda), which is in the Indian state of Gujarat.
This blog is an account of my experiences while in India. I also made some podcasts which you can listen to by clicking on the links. You can leave a comment if you want to let me know what you think.
I arranged my time in Vadodara through an organisation called AIESEC. Before I set out for India I interviewed Katie Barrett, a committee member of the AIESEC group of Bristol University, on BURST – the student Radio Station at Bristol University. You can hear clips from the interview by clicking on the link below. (apologies for the heavy breathing, it’s my silent co-presenter being not so silent!)
Hello Hannah
You are having an interesting time. The community pressure idea of doing good sounds worthwhile bit difficult, I think the cameraman’s comments sound apt. Cant wait to see some footage of you on the scooter.

Hey Han,
Great to hear what you are up to. Hope you are well and enjoying your time in India.
Would be great to see some photos if you can upload them onto the site – although I know how challenging an internet cafe in India can be!
See you soon,

I think your piece on the protest is brilliant, one of the best things you have done. Let us know what happens at the start of the new semester.
